Perfectvision’s Ridgeloc 360® portfolio of connectors includes a one-piece BNC connector for RG
59 HEC coxial cables. The PV5HEC-BNC is suitable for all HEC cable designs (including tri-shield
and quad-shield).

CABLE PREPARATION
The coax should have a 1/4” (6.35 mm) exposed braid and 5/16” (7.9375 mm) exposed center
conductor. (PV compatible prep tools: PVD596250 and PV1596250)
COMPRESSION TOOL SPECIFICATIONS
Any compression tool with a “closed” gap close to 36.70 mm will work. This includes all full
capture dies as well as open top designs. Tool wear is less of a factor based on the PV5HEC-BNC
design. (PV compatible Tools: PV300)
